Cape Verde Archipelago, being on the same latitude as the Caribbean, enjoys all year round tropical summer sun with temperatures ranging from 24C to 29C.
The clear emerald green seas vary between 22C to 26C.
The rainy season is from mid August to mid October but is spasmodic. Hurricanes do not affect the islands, although the winter months can have gusty winds blowing in from the Sahara, great for water sports.
